What protection Alabama does not provide
Because Alabama regulates no online gambling, there is no state self-exclusion register covering online play, no statutory deposit-limit requirement and no regulator to escalate a complaint to. Deposit limits and cooling-off periods may exist at an individual operator's discretion, and they can change them.
We would rather say that plainly than imply a safety net that is not there.
